Ms. Holly Ruan

I have been fascinated by how movement can enlighten the brain for many years.

I trained in Rhythmic Movement Training in 2015 and was amazed by the rapid improvement it provided to children’s development and wanted to learn more. My curiosity led me to study The 3 and half year Feldenkrais Method Training and I graduated in 2022. To deepen my understanding and skills, particularly with regard to my areas of interest, I am currently undertaking further studies in The Movement Lessons founded by Michelle Turner.

The knowledge and experience I have accumulated through hundreds of hours of practice with my peers and clients and the rigorous inquiry into learning through the in depth trainings has provided me a deep and broad knowledge of movement and the skill to effectively work with individuals and groups to help people in achieving easier movement, more awareness of the current ways they use their body and help provide options for more graceful and fluid movements with less pain and more freedom. In addition I bring in experience of assessing and improving functional vision, which is a significantly overlooked area by many modalities and specialists.

All these approaches are pain free based gentle movements, which is one of the outstanding characteristic of these particular practice.

I’m particularly interested in helping children with developmental delays, people with brain injury, and our elders alongside providing help to the general public.
